MSA Allocation Services
WC MSA I
The WC MSA I provides a projection of all future injury related medical expenses, otherwise covered by Medicare, over an individual's life expectancy.
The WC MSA I service includes the following:
- A detailed projection of Medicare allowable injury related expenses, including Part D prescription/off label Drug Review
- Securing necessary releases (if authorized)
- Social Security and Medicare status determination
- Reporting to COBC to initiate a Medicare conditional payment claim investigation
- Determination of rated age life expectancy
- Recommendations for frequency and amounts of periodic payments when a structured settlement is utilized

WC MSA II
The WC MSA II provides a projection of injury related medical expenses that are both Medicare allowable and non-Medicare allowable.
The WC MSA II services includes the following:
- A detailed projection of Medicare allowable injury related expenses, including a Part D prescription/off label Drug Review
- A detailed projection of non-Medicare allowable injury related expense
- Social Security and Medicare status determination
- Reporting to COBC to initiate a Medicare conditional payment claim investigation
- Determination of rated age life expectancy
- Recommendations for frequency and amounts of periodic payments when a structured settlement is utilized

Non-Threshold WC MSA
This service provides an MSA allocation for claims that do not meet the CMS review thresholds.
The Non-Threshold WC MSA includes the following:
- A detailed projection of Medicare allowable injury related expenses
- Determination of Rated Age Life Expectancy
- Recommendations for frequency and amounts of periodic payments when a structured settlement is utilized

Liability MSA
The Liability MSA provides an MSA allocation for incident related Medicare allowable treatment for Liability cases. Service is completed within 10 business days*.
Low Dollar Settlement MSA
This service provides a cost-effective MSA allocation for total settlements of $25,000 or less.
The Low Dollar Settlement MSA service includes the following:
- Determination of rated age life expectancy
- Projection of injury related costs otherwise covered by Medicare, over the rated age life expectancy

CMS Submission Services
Submission of MSA to CMS for Approval
CMS Submission services includes the following:
- Submission of MSA allocation and supporting documents to CMS for review
- Ongoing communication with CMS throughout the review process
- Reconsideration to CMS, if applicable

Submittal to CMS completed within 5 business days*
Submission of $0 Allocation to CMS for Approval
$0 Allocation submission services includes the following:
- Preparation of the submission document and supporting attachments requesting approval of a $0 MSA allocation in disputed/denied cases
- Social Security and Medicare Status determination
- Medicare conditional payment claim investigation
- Ongoing communication with CMS throughout the review process
- $0 Allocation submitted to CMS within 5 business days*
